History
Line: Japeri
Local Attractions: Carlos Zéfiro Municipal Cultural Marquee
The station received the name “Nazareth Station”, as it was located on the lands of Nazareth Farm, where coffee and sugar cane, and later oranges, were planted. Years later, the station received the same name as the neighborhood: Padre José de Anchieta - a tribute to the “Apostle of Brazil”, who was an evangelizer, teacher and defender of Brazilian natives.
