History
Line: Saracuruna
Even when there were trains known as Maria Fumaças, there was a circular line in the area shifting the locomotives, and that’s why the current station bears this name.
The newspaper "A Rua", on 7/23/1917, reported that the residents of Penha Circular made a petition to The Minister of Transport requesting a station for that place, as it was growing every day and the population was increasing.
